Nissan will try to regain its lost positions in the Chinese market with the release of a new generation electric car model - the N7 sedan.

The presentation of the new product took place at the Guangzhou Auto Show. It is built on a platform developed by Dongfeng Nissan, which promises to give owners: unrivaled comfort and a set of intelligent technologies.

The N7 is positioned as a car for family customers. Its dimensions of 4930 x 1895 x 1487 mm and a wheelbase of 2915 mm promise a lot of space in the cabin and a roomy trunk.

The corporate style is given by the headlights, reminiscent of a boomerang in shape. Personalization is provided in the form of simple drawings on the optical panels, which consist of 710 LEDs.

While the main characteristics remain a secret, it is known that the partners tried to make the car especially comfortable for the driver. This is facilitated by a unique driver's seat with 49 sensors that scan the pilot's body position while driving, and the adjustment system with the help of AI analyzes this data and adjusts the seat to him.

The N7 infotainment system runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295p processor. The car is equipped with safety and driving assistance systems. Nissan worked on the latter together with Momenta. The product is called Navigate on Autopilot. The N7 will be equipped with operational navigation and intelligent parking.

The N7 should go on sale in China in the first half of 2025. Earlier it was reported that Nissan's sales in China fell by 5.4% in the first nine months of the year (after a collapse of a third in 2023).
