Pre-sales of the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 with a range of up to 1,420 km have opened in China.

The first examples of the new product from Geely have rolled off the assembly line and went on sale at prices ranging from $15,300 to $19,900. There are five versions in total, which differ from each other in range.

The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 has dimensions of 4740 x 1905 x 1685 mm, and the wheelbase is 2755 mm. This is the first Geely model to use the NordThor 2.0 powertrain, a second-generation PHEV system also known as EM-i.

The car has a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 112 hp, but the power of the electric motor varies and reaches a maximum of 218 hp.

The pure electric range is between 55 and 120 km. The version with the shorter range uses a battery with a capacity of 8.5 kWh. The version with the largest battery capacity of 19.09 kWh has a range according to the CLTC cycle of 1,420 km.

Inside the car is the Meizu Flyme Auto intelligent system. The dashboard has a 14.6-inch floating infotainment screen and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel is similar to the one installed in the Geely Galaxy E5. There is also a dual 50W wireless phone charging pad.
