Seller Description

Rare 1925 CW Douglas for sale. Comes with the following spares as pictured: 1 x hub in VGC (and another wheel with a good brake rim and empty hub - not pictured), 1 x EIC 180 degree Magneto in VGC and a Miller headlight.
The saddle is a reproduction fibreglass copy built by the previous owner - original cracked saddle will be offered but is in bad shape.
Tank is solid and clean internally with no rust but has a loose filler baffle - this sits internally on the base of the tank to disburse the fuel flow when filling.
Wheels need restoring and are empty hubs with no internals.
Original kicker needs repair and the rear internal thread on the intake manifold is poor but easily repaired.
Foot boards are nice cast reproductions but need fitting - foot board frame tubes need repair as usual.
Guards are original and are solid and without rust.
The bike is a great project with most of the very hard to find parts. Only selling due to a lack of space in our new shed.
