| : | General Motors Holden built original all steel rust free body. Everything is there. In one family since new. Always garaged or stored. 66 thousand original miles. Has not run since 1999 however has only traveled the equivalent of 10 miles since full engine rebuild. Comes complete with set of original wire wheels set of 13 inch Holden rims for manoeverability. Has been converted from original mechanical brakes to hydraulic for safety purposes .The car was originally destined as a regular driver. The engine is from a 1955 model to benefit full pressure lubrication four main bearing crankshaft. The original six only had splash lubrication and was prone to run bearings. The three speed transmission is also 1955 to offer synchro on gears 2 3. The electrical system is now 12 volt. A new radiator core has been grafted to the original surround. The original seats remain as do the door cards original hood lining. Comes with all door handles window winders original glass. |
