For your consideration: I am offering this rare 1939 Harley Davidson Knucklehead engine. This engine has been completely rebuilt inside and out by Rod Davis from Stripped Down Cycles out of Dubois IL. It has an unmolested vin pad with 39EL34xx number. Everything is date coded correctly late 38 or 39- the only part that is not correct is the oil pump which is later knucklehead. Belly numbers match. There are 3 threaded inserts in the left side case where the inner primary bolts on. 2 intake manifolds included, 1 is modified for a 4 bolt linkert and 1 for the correct 3 bolt carb. Clear PA title in my name. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer OEM prewar knucklehead motor in this condition. This auction is for the 39 engine, extra intake manifold, and paperwork only.
