Seller Description
This 1946 Pontiac Torpedo 2 door sedan is a resto-rod. It has a 1987 Monte Carlo SS frame,suspension, and powertrain. The smallblock Chevy 305CI was rebuilt by previous owner, but is relatively fresh. It has a TH400 automatic transmission. Aluminum radiator. Power steering and power brakes. New steering box and rag joint. The Body is shaved with body moldings andhandles removed, and the headlamp and tail lamps incorporated into the bodypanels.
The rear fenders and door bulgefeatures have been welded to the body and filled to create the smoothinterfaces. The bumpers were removedand the metal restored smooth in its place.The doors and trunk have remote manual opening pulls. New interior installed with power front doorwindows, new dash and gages, new tilt column, and blu-tooth radio with cerwinvega speakers. Aluminum rims with new RadialT/A tires. Paint is Hot Rod Smoke colorwith satin finish, not high gloss. Thegrill and pot metal trim features on fender and hood are all painted chromecolor, not actually chromed. Clean title.
