Amazing rare example that has been restored to perfection. The subject vehicle is a 1948 Chrysler Town & Country Sedan 4 Door Woody. Its major equipment includes Luggage Rack and dual Spotlights. It is equipped with a 6 Cyl, 250-cubic inches, gasoline, naturally aspirated engine and a 3 speed manual transmission.
The Current owner stated that this car spent most of its life in San Bernardino area of Southern California. In the 90's it went to the Seattle Washington area where it was stored for several years and was purchased by the current owner.
Over the last several years the subject vehicle has undergone restoration. All the mechanical components, motor etc were rebuilt. It was rewired and re-trimmed. Next the wood was refinished. It is reported that the original wood was so good that very little had to be replaced. The car has recently been repainted and re-chromed. The panels were removed, stripped, painted and reassembled. The inner fenders were powder coated. The paint shop owner stated that the car had very little rust and the panels were so straight that hardly any filler was used. The Di Noc wood panels were replaced with real mahogany by a wooden boat builder and looks like it belongs on a fine Violin. Interior is done in Bedford Cord and fine leather.

The car has the Dual spotlights and wood and chrome roof rack all in pristine condition.
The restoration was not a frame off restoration. The underside of this car was original and so clean that over restoration may occur if was painted. The quality of all work is excellent. The cost for this restoration is over $100,000.00The dash, headliner, carpet, seat, door panels, body, paint, glass, and tires are in excellent condition.
