Just sold 50 year collection of English parts andmotorcycles this summer that was my retirement fund. Filled a 52 foot trailer that went to the East Coast and now I am going to sell my motorcycles I have left. I do not want to use my new knees on starting my kick start vintage bikes. I am selling my motorcycles "AS-IS" because I want to go have fun and I have had a good run with screwing with my old bikes. Bought a new Morgan three-wheeler and that is the next stage in my life. Bought the Harley in 2005 from John Bordas who built it for himself. Its titled as a 1983 as a special build and has all the right upgrades to make the brakes and electrics safe forthe 21st century.
INFORMATION FROM BUILDER:(Talked withthe original builder of the Panhead and here are my notes)
• Not the real mileage on the odometer.• Bike has very few miles on it.• 1983 Is when I first built the bike and titled it in Texas.• The engine is a 74 inch "FL"• There is an alternator in the left case• 12 volt electrical system• The cases are mismatched - The throttle side case is 1948 and the other case is 1970• Front and Rear wheels are tubeless spoked rims• 4-speed ratchet lid transmission• VDL belt drive•Headlight glass is from John Deere Tractor
The original builder built the '48 from all Harley-Davidson parts. He wanted a true Bobber that was amish-mash of parts similar to what would have been customized after World War II. He wanted the old-school vibe but also something that would stop and also be able to ride safely at night.He remembered the 1989 Sturgis Drinking permit and I think he wants it back!

Selling for the owner. When I met Greghe had over 100 motorcycles and a warehouse full of parts. He has whittled his collection down to about 20 motos. All his stuff is quality and he is a very active member ofthe Antique MotorcycleClub of America. Free Membership to AMCA is included in the purchase of his BSA.
The Bobber is in excellent condition. Greg just doesn't want to kickstart motorcycles anymore. Included in the auction is an Accelerator pump forthecarburetor to make starting easier. I have found the original builder of the Bobber and hopefully will get more history on the Bobber. All the paint and modifications have been done to a high standard. The Bobber runs but Greg is selling "AS-IS" and winning bidder will not be disappointed.
I shot lots of photos and took three videos of the Harley-Davidson. I try to put as much information in my listings so that there are no suprises. All the information typed in this listing is the most up-to-date information. The information in the videos is subject to finding out what actually is correct so please be kind to some of my inaccurate statements and comments in the videos. Thanks!
