1949 CHEVY, 1 TON (8 lug), LONG WHEEL BASE, PANEL TRUCK: All original. Very, very little rust!Last registered in 1966. Have clear NC title. Front floors repaired. New windshield installed (glass & rubber).Starts and runs "perfect". Has rebuilt 235 6 cyl. (pressure oiling and replaceable bearings). Have all paper work from engine rebuild.Has 6 volt system with a 6 volt "alternator" that charges even when idling. Has 6 volt halogen head lights. Turn signals work!
"All" mechanical items have been rebuilt. Brakes work as well as floor emergency brake lever. Brand new exhaust. Heater works! Needs driver and passenger glass.Speedometer is only thing not working.
Starts and runs perfectly. Will do 60 mph with no problem. Has new bias ply tires.
Has a "Comet Sky Shield" SS sun visor.
Currently has 4 speed manual trans (granny 1st gear). Original green paint is still on below orange.
Truck came from North Dakota, only driven during the summers. It belonged to a petroleum business that serviced farms (farms closed in winter). It looks like it was not abused. Last registeredin 1966 in ND before coming to NC (clear NC title).
