Seller Description

1950 Crosley Hot Shot!
Many people do not realize that the super compact
and small Crosleys were manufactured both before and after WWII. After World War II, in the early 1950s,
Crosley came out with their sports car called the Hot Shot. This was America’s first sports car. The four cylinder engine was as iconic as the
Crosley Hot Shot itself and was so popular that after Crosley closed down, the
engine was continued to be produced by others for many purposes including usage
for power on speed boats.
The little Crosley is small and is relatively
powerful for its size and can keep up with modern traffic. There is even a Crosley club with very loyal
members and wonderful local and national meets throughout the year.

The Crosley Hot Shot is a real crowd pleaser and
whether cruising down the street or at a car show, we have seen the Hot Shot
parked next to some pretty important pre-war classic cars and watch as the Crosley steals the show.
The Crosley Hot Shot shown here has been
restored and still looks fresh. It runs great and what fun! The car has a
top and we have shared photos of the car with the top on from a few years ago.
The little Hot Shot also has brand new side curtains that have never been on
the car. The interior was redone to the
original specifications.
The restoration on this Hot Shot still looks
fresh!
The 4 cylinder overhead cam engine was rebuilt
and runs great. Mileage is believed to
be correct but no documentation to verify so we used 100 miles per the eBay
format to make sure to bring your attention to the fact.
The interior was done to the original
style.
Spare tire and tire cover option.
The tires look great but age is unknown.
The gas gauge works sporadically and the
convertible top has a slight flaw from sitting on a shelf.
The car has a working radio!
Whether you want a Crosley Hot Shot for 'Garage Art' or cruising around the neighborhood or watching the crowds gather at car
shows, it is hard to find another collector car that can be so much fun! Again, view the photos to check out the great condition!
Not often do you see a Hot Shot in this
condition ever offered up for sale!
Great opportunity!
If you are looking for a car of iconic status
and runs and drive great, take a look at the pictures, this is a car that you
can bid to win and be very happy that you did!!
