Up for sale 1955 1st series pickup.These trucks are getting harder and harder to find .There either fixed up and cost a lot of money,or they are in need of a lot of money,time,and work. Would make a great Christmas gift for that handy man who wants a quick project. The truck was yanked from a field with trees growing out of his bed ,brought in and sand blasted,floor pans replaced along with cab corners and riveted patch work .That is when I received the truck .Since then it has had a laundry list of stuff done to it: $1000.00 of engine work which brought it back to life on 9/11/2018. Starting with full tune up and rebuilding of carburetor, new seals on exhaust manifold,new valve cover and inspection plate ,gas tank cleaned ,new fuel pump and sending unit,starter rebuilt, generator rebuilt , new battery. Then it got some primer put on and was painted, ALL glass and seals replaced,bucket seats installed ,carpet installed,door panels and headliner installed,replaced speedometer gauge cluster and speedometer cable ,new pedals for gas and starter ,glove box replaced,ash tray replaced,wiper arms,blades,and wiper control cable replaced ,wiper control box still needs to be lubed,4 new tires and rims , extra spare tire and cover, new master cylinder,some brake lines replaced,brake switch for rear tail lights, still needs brakes bleed better or drums adjusted,head light rings and Chevy head light visors, new oak wood in bed,along with bed rails, new cherry bomb muffler. There is still more parts and work to be done on Frankie. He has most of the parts for changing him to a 12 volt system which will be included with sale .

Along with new clutch package. There are no taillights and wiring to gas tank still needs to be hooked up. All other gauges work. It does start, run and stop if you pump the brakes.
