This is a Custom Built APS Streamline 2000cc Class
Bonneville Salt Flat Racer Bike that was built over many years by the record
holder Dave Matson.

Bike Started life as
1955 Vincent Black Shadow D Series. Dave has been racing/ building race Vincent’s
and running them at the salt flats since 1959. This Bike has held
2 Bonneville Salt Flat Records for 33 years. In 1988 set the record in
the MPS-F 2000 Partial Streamlined Class
at 225.643MPH. Same year set the record
in the No Fairing or MF class and set record at 210.357 MPH. Both Records still hold to this day in the
SCTA Record Book. Engine is a Modified
Vincent Black Shadow 1824cc Fuel injected engine. Duel plugs with coil
Injection. Custom built heat treated Cylinder
barrels and Billet crank Shaft. Transmission
is all stock. Cylinder head are original
but have had valve work done. Has hydraulic Multi Plate 1200lb Clutch. Custom
handmade aero space Alloy Fairing and tail section that was left over NASA
material. Hand made custom aluminum Exhaust. Runs on 10% alcohol methane and 90% nitro
methane. Custom Distributor from 4
cylinder car with dual points. Has Stock
Primary and Main cases from Vincent.
Custom hand made alloy oil tank.
Alloy Rims. Has stock style
single D series Suspension. Has Stock
rack and added trail. This is a one of a
