1957 Chevy 3100 2 wheel drive short bed.NO TITLE. BILL OF SALE ONLY.
This truck is a project. There are lots of mechanical stuff and rust problems that needs to be addressed before it can be safely driven on the road. Truck will run and drive enough to get it on a trailer and around the yard. Brakes are soft and master cylinder is leaking.
Mechanical:327 V8 runs smooth and strong. The four barrel carburetor not so much. It needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Valve cover gaskets need replacing. Truck has no exhaust only manifolds. Transmission and engine oil pan gaskets have small leaks.
Paint and Body:The paint on the truck is not original and has lots of imperfection's. Body has lots of dents and scratches. Cab floor of the truck needs some patch work. Steps and cab corners needs repairs.The floor of the bed still has wood boards and previous owner has welded peace of sheet metal over it to cover everything up. Exterior of the bed including both fender and tailgate has fair amount of rust and dents.
