Seller Description

Bsa bitsa, nice looking original Goldstar CB Motor dated to 1955, A10 frame is dated to 1958. Bike has clear title in previous owners named, signed and open Tennessee title. There are no titles given for bikes this age in Georgia so this is a better way to go. If you have an issue with this, please do not bid!
The CB goldstar engines had oval crankshafts and had many wins at Isle of Man and other races. All parts to my knowledge are interchangeable with the DB and DBD goldstars. This motor runs fine and as you see in the pictures, it has matched engine cases with no repairs that I have seen. We had it looked at by well known goldstar machanic and he mentioned the pushrods were slightly shorter than needed. He suggested pulling them out and he would make them to the correct length. Has a10 std gearbox, Harley forks, Goldstar 8” front wheel, a10 frame and rear wheel. Chrome clubman tank has some chrome peeling but it holds gas and looks ok, it was on one of my other goldstars while I was restoring the original tank. This tank is from India and I have had zero issues with it. It has a Smiths chronometric speedo and later model Smiths tach. Would need a little tinkering before heading out on a long journey but it's not something in need of a total rebuild, etc. Running goldstars are getting harder to find. Purchased this a couple years ago with intentions to take out the motor and place it in a lightweight tracker type frame, but with my Father's passing this year I've lost interest in the project. The motor has the racing 1-7/8 original BSA pipe on it and an aftermarket megaphone plus other finned alloy racing type pieces sprinkled on the motor. I wondered with these parts could it have a Pearson crank or other goodies but that I'll never know!
