1960 survivor chopper. I bought this as a basket case about 10 years ago. been slowly putting it back together. I have a 1959 semi-resoration Im putting together and would like to free up some money for that project. so this project isnt completely done, but it is close. Motor is complete. it is an HD right side case with a Bonneville Cal Customs left side. it has a Kansas DMV assigned 1960 HD VIN number.

title alone is almost 20 years old, not sure when the number was assigned but the left case has a casting date of 78, so im sure it was done back then. Transmission is complete, belt drive primary and clutch are complete. front end needs gone through, rear brake needs a backing plate and some linkage. neat ode to the Capttain America bike of 1969 with an Iron cross instead of stars attitude. ask any questions. it is what it is... an old bike someone built a long time ago. i have it and its for sale. i could copletely rebuild it and make it brand new but that would take away from its survivor status and in my oppinion, ruin it. not sure if case broke and was replaced or if if this has some true outlaw history. either way, i have a good title making it a good 1960 Panhead motorcyle. wish I knew more about its life but I dont. still cool.
