Seller Description

I am advertising this cool Riviera on behalf of a deceased estate. I owned this car up until last year and sold it to my buddy, who sadly passed away recently. The car always attracted a crowd when I took it out, and I have used a few of those photos in this listing. Thanks to the photographers. The car is still in exactly the same condition as shown. The Riviera is a very early build October 1962, and was the 2,682nd built out of 40,000 total 1963 models. It has the desirable Silver Cloud paint (Code D) and black leather interior (code 788J2). Riviera came standard with 401 V8 and Dynaflow transmission. This coupe was imported from California in 2014 (Import Approval dated Dec 2013 is in hand), was then sold to a NSW owner who did most of the work, he then sold it to me in 2019 and I spent more money, and sold it on to my friend.Over the last few years it has had the following.. New brakes, new radiator and cooling system, new Edelbrock 4 barrel, new genuine white wall tyres, recon power steer pump, new battery and four headlights, and most front suspension bits. Engine was removed, partially stripped down and checked over (no problems evident) and a new gasket kit fitted, then painted and installed back in the detailed engine bay. Its last tune and service was June 2020, and while hardly driven since has been regularly started. The family fired it up recently and it was driven around their town. The coupe was imported with a four way airbag system, but the front bags have been replaced with new low coil springs. Rear airbags, 2 Vair compressors and tank remain. Rims are 15 x 6" and 7" with as new 205 and 225 tyres. Chromed spider caps and ribbed trim rims complete the wheel package. The roof was painted metallic purple sparkle in Australia, while the faded silver paint remains as originally imported. I am not aware of any rust at all in this car, while chrome and stainless are nice. Interior is in excellent condition and has been mildly customized with a steering wheel and engine turned door panels in place of the woodgrain trim.. A Pioneer sound system is hidden in the glovebox. A stack of spare parts are included to fix a couple of issues the car does have. The car was registered in QLD I believe, and definitely was registered in NSW, but has not been registered in SA. It is located in Naracoorte SA currently, but I can help arrange transport back to Adelaide and then interstate if needed.

I usually ignore silly questions and low ball offers, so would ask that you ring me ohfour ohfour [hidden information] if you are genuinely interested thankyou.
