Hello Ford 427 Fans
For sale I have a Very Rare 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 R Code 427 Car.This car is a true California Car Black on Black with California Black plates still on her. This car was just recently appraised for $144,000 by Hagerty that will go with the car. There is a write up about these cars in Street Rodder Magazine in April 2019.
These cars are very hard to find as you may already know. This Ford runs and drives great.The car was repainted several years ago and it was buffed out about 21 years ago so the paint is not perfect however it is very nice in my opinion.
I would rate the paint a 6 out of 10 and the interior is a 7 or 8 out of 10 in my opinion.To the best of my knowledge this car was an old school drag race car in the mid and late 60's.This Ford has been kept in the condition it’s in to this day out of respect for that era.The original 427 was replaced back in the 60's with a more modern Side oiler 427.This car has a Factory Ford Top Loader 4 Speed in it. The rear end was replaced 4 years ago with a 389 Possi unit. The Air cleaner, and cast headers are original.The dual Carbs are a set of 1968 Holley Drag race carbs. The Heads are out of a FE engine.This car has a new 11" Clutch with Kevlar. The Original Lakewood scatter shield is still there.
The Old school Traction Master Traction bars are still under the car from its racing days.

The ignition is Malory with a unilight matching distributer with a matching coil and Tachometer with a Rev limiter and shift light still in the car from the 60's.The Custom 8 Quart Oil Pan was installed during the cars racing days.
