BOUGHT FROM A ONE
OWNER IN CALIFORNIA AS AN ABSOLUTELY RUST AND ACCIDENT FREE CAR, IMPORTED TO
AUSTRALIA AND RESTORED HERE IN QUEENSLAND.
THE CAR WAS ONLY
DRIVEN FOR ONLY 6 YEARS FROM 1964 TO 1970, THEN STOPPED RUNNING SO THE OWNER
GARAGED IT FOR THE REMAINDER OF IT’S LIFE UNTIL IT CHANGED HANDS AND WAS
IMPORTED IN 2015. THE CAR WAS THEN STRIPPED AND BARE METAL SPRAYED, THE PAINT
IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE CAR IS DEAD STRAIGHT AND WOULD SUIT ANY PAINT FUSSY BUYER.
NEW CARPET WAS
INSTALLED BUT ALL THE TRIM IS ORIGINAL TO THE CAR AND EXCEPTIONAL FOR IT’S AGE
AND A TESTAMENT TO IT’S LOW MILES AND STORAGE. MAGS AND NEW TYRES WERE FITTED,
NEW C4 AUTOMATIC TRANS WITH A NEW FLOOR SHIFTER WAS ADDED, THE BRAKES WERE ALL
OVER HAULED AND THE ORIGINAL 289 ENGINE GOT A FULL REBUILD AND TURNED INTO A
SPRITLY 302 AND ONLY DONE APPROX 1000KS SINCE THE CAR HAS ALL BEEN PUT BACK
TOGETHER.

A FULL NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM REPLACED THE OLD, A NEW RADIATOR AND A
REFURBISHED GAS TANK SITS UNDERNEATH, AND ALL NEW BUSHING HAVE REPLACED THE OLD
FROM FRONT AND REAR. A NEW CONVERTIBLE TOP WAS MADE, AND MUCH NICER AND
CLASSIER THAN THE FACTORY TOP AND HAS A NEW REAR ZIP OUT REAR GLASS WINDOW AND
IT IS ONE OF THE FEW CONVERTIBLES THAT LOOKS BETTER WITH THE TOP UP THAN DOWN!
