1964 Sunbeam Tiger MK1. This is very early Tiger. It was number 92 in production. It still retains the original black dash that came on the very early Tigers. It also has the short lever shifter that was present on the MK1 cars.

I have owned this car for a couple of years. This personalized Tiger runs and drives well. I believe the engine is a 289 with a stock four barrel intake topped with a Edelbrock carb.The front crossmember appears to have been reinforced and the front suspension rebuilt. It has Koni shocks on all corners.
There are disc brakes front and rear with Wilwoods up front. The rear diff is equipped with a posi unit with an unknown exact ratio but somewhere in the 3.50 range.The floor pans are solid and the body is in good shape.
The paint was done by the previous owner years ago. He enjoyed the company of the SAAC folks.The soft top is in place but will need the top itself replaced. The hard top in in good condition. I believe all the top trim is in place with the exception of the connector pieces that are still available.This little modified Tiger would be an easy and interesting restoration if one wished to own a more original car. The original color according to the Vin tag is code 39 Carnival red.
The Tiger has been Tac certified as a real Tiger. I do have a title. The car is licensed and insured in my name and driven occasionally.
