This is a very nice example of an unmodified 1965 Chrysler 300 Convertible. Only 1,418 Chrysler 300 convertibles were produced in 1965 making it quite a rare and unique vehicle, by comparison 57,903 Chevrolet Impala convertibles were built in the same year. Built in a time where bigger was better, the Chrysler 300 was marketed as a personal luxury car. The car features a powerful 383ci V8 engine paired to an Automatic transmission. The car runs and drives nicely down the road and shifts smoothly through the gears. The suspension is soft and floats down the road like you would expect of a big American luxury car.
The paintwork is very nice in the factory metallic light blue colour and the chrome work has been refinished and presents extremely well. The car sits nicely on a set of original steel wheels and hubcaps with thin white wall tyres. The interior is pearl white and presents well for a car of its age with only minor wear. It has been upgraded with a modern sound system and speakers for some cruising tunes. The top is power operated and the white top is in good condition as is the rear window. The windows are manual wind ups all around.

Some cool features include bucket seats with centre console, console mounted vacuum power gauge and factory air conditioning which is functional.
The car represents great value for a big 60’s American luxury convertible and is much rarer than most. A great classic convertible for a guy who wants something different to the norm.
