Used 1965 Ducati Scrambler Used 250L

On offer here is a mostly complete and original 1965 Ducati Scrambler. The engine runs and has had the cylinder honed and ringed (74.25mm) with new valves, stem seals and cam bearings installed. The rod and main bearings were checked and found to be in excellent shape. Currently it is running a 28mm Amal carburetor but it does come with the original Dellorto carburetor/Basso air filter that are complete but the carb needs rebuilding. The clutch cable, throttle cable and rear brake cable have also been replaced and are new. After many years of sitting, this Ducati (using a remote fuel supply) has been ridden for about 10 minutes to check for clutch and transmission operation which seemed to both be in good working order. Both the speedometer and tachometer work well and the odometer reads 1410 original miles. Items requiring repair or replacement include the fuel tank (bottom is rotted out), seat (see photos), front rim (chrome is rusted) and fenders (dented with some small cracks that could be repaired). Overall this Ducati is fairly original and complete and a good candidate for restoration.
