Seller Description

For sale is my 1967 Corvette Convertible. I have owned other classic Corvettes and even got burned by a fake. So when I started my search I employed Dr Paul Noble. Paul has been both a NCRS national and Bloomington Gold judge. He located this Corvette and told me that it was a numbers matching, high quality restoration that was done right. He classified the car as a "good #2" that just needed some details sorted and it was a very fair price. It has the ORIGINAL tank sticker still on the tank, and lots of documentation back to 1983 (see above). Based on the documentation the car has had 5 owners (including me).

After buying the car I have had the following done.Complete removal of the stainless around the windshield and door frames, then had it polishedThe engine was detailed by Corvette "experts"- Radiator stripped, painted- Fan shroud stripped and cleaned- Paint front crossmember- Strip paint exhaust manifolds- Painted the engine block- Stripped the intake- Refinish 2 wire supports- Install expansion tank with correct straps- Dress hoses- Repair dust covers- Refinsh splash shields- Install various correct hose clamps- Attach appropriate stickers- Install new hood release cable- Strip and dress fan- Strip and dress pulleys- Dress alternator- Strip and dress Power steering pump- Master cylinder cap- Repair alternator wire- Strip and dress alternator brackets- Strip, dress, and mount coil and coil bracket- Paint inside of hood and dress hood pins- Restore heater box- New valve cover bolts, clips, body plastic stopper, steering column seal, throttle spring bracket, heater hoseLastly a few other items were replaced by the seller. NOS rear Corvette badge, NOS horn button, various interior knobs, NOS tail light bezels, new sill plates. So we took a good #2 car and made it better. As you can see the underside is "clean" and the fiberglass is still in it's natural color (most get painted). The car is not "perfect" it has a pin head sized chip on the top of the driver's side fender, the eggcrate grille under the bumper has some pitting and scratching in the chrome, the carpet is sunworn, the bezel around the shifter has light scratching (didn't get around to replacing it), there is a hole on the inside corner of the glovebox where and aftermarket stereo was installed (has been taken out), and a few chips behind the rear wheels from rocks. The side pipes are not original to the car, but were supposedly a dealer add on by the first owner. I have more pictures (but got limited by Ebay on how many I could post), and would be happy to answer any questions. I am also happy to host a pre-purchase inspection. The car runs as good as it looks! The Hagerty valuation tool lists a 67 corvette at $92K plus additional for power steering, leather and power windows. My reserve is significantly below that so whomever buys this car is going to get a great car for (potentially) a great price. The car has no expressed on implied warranty and the car is being sold "as is", "where is"Good luck!
