1967 Jaguar 3.8 S, about 6 years ago I had some brake work done on this jaguar as far as new booster and valve, rebuilt the starter and some other minor work. Picked it up from the shop I made about 5-6 miles and rear brakes started to seize and I immediately turned around and got back to the mechanic for him to take care of the rear brakes as well. By the time I pulled to the shop the clutch burned up on me trying to keep up with the rear brakes holding the car from moving freely. They were not so happy to see the car again. Got the car towed to my warehouse. I never had the rear brakes fixed ever since or the clutch. It was a really good running car but never had time to get it back on the road again. Now selling it in non running condition.
Body is mostly rust free, only the lower corners of 2 front fender and driver side rear quarter edge is starting to rust, underside is in very good shape as well as the trunk floor. It had a lower quality repaint once, I don't see any previous body work but just a not so good respray. Chrome pieces are all usable.
Interior is very dry, it was stored indoors in the winter but outdoors during the summer so all the wood veneer needs to be done but the base wood is usable.
Engine was a good running engine and the transmission worked well, i never got to use the overdrive with it so I don't know how it works. I only used the passenger side gas tank before. now they all have to be checked I wouldn't try to start it without cleaning out the fuel system.
Comes with tool kit and some miscellaneous parts as seen on photos.
