I have owned this old girl since 1989.

Unfortunately, I have not ridden her for years, and I have moved, my old garage was heated and sheetrocked, this new one is not, so time for her to find a new home. She was originally a german delivered bike, the Speedometer is in KM. she is all original in paint and condition, so restoration is not necessary other than a mechanical refreshening. There is some surface rust in a few areas, but nothing deep. I think a wire wheel could take it off. The numbers seem to match, I think there is one on the frame and on the engine, see pictures. It used to run great, but I had a mechanic work on it, he said he rebuilt the carbs, now it runs very poorly, he said it needs more, but unfortunately he did not itemize these things on a receipt. It also could use a thorough cleaning and polishing. A serious buyer is of course urged to come have a look, or appoint someone to do so. I am not a motorcycle guy, so I am unsure as to what things I should be describing. So look at the pictures, ask questions, and assume this is an old bike that needs some engine work to get her going. It does not have a serious condition such as a blown up engine, nothing knocks or anything like that. It also does not seem to have any leaks, so I assume the engine has always just been in there undisturbed. It has ancient bias tires, Continental I think. I never had anything done to it, she always used to start up fine. I bought it at the BMW dealer back in the day.So please ask questions if you are a serious buyer, I can also talk to you but am hesitant to put my phone number on the internet.
