I am selling this for a friend. It is a 1968 BMW R50/2. The current owner purchased it on January 17th, 2003 having already been through a total restoration. It is finished in Avus Black with white pinstripes. The odometer reads 44,517 miles.

It is equipped with leather saddle bags, a headlight guard, a fold down luggage rack, and continental tires. The VIN is [hidden information]. Since his purchase, it was always stored inside and during the winter it was in heated storage. He has added about 4,000 miles since his ownership. Included with the sale is the tool kit as pictured (and yes, it needs a new cloth bag), two sets of keys, and service records since his purchase. He had it serviced exclusively at Wagner Motorsports in Worcester, MA by factory trained BMW motorcycle technicians. The bike is in excellent running and riding condition and is in great cosmetic condition. This is a vintage BMW that you will be proud to own and ride. It is being sold with a clear Massachusetts title and bill of sale. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction.
