Used 1968 Ford Fairlane Used 289L Automatic Gasoline 500 Coupe

1968 Ford Fairlane 500 convertible, Brittany blue exterior, Blue vinyl bench seat interior, 289 2V engine, C4 automatic transmission, 2:79 open rear, power top, power steering, power disc brakes, am radio, came with hub caps but I put the argent styled steel wheels on with new tires.
Pretty solid. It runs and lot drives with a gas can. Power top even works. Canvas is gone.
Body is decent, has rust at the pinch weld on the firewall, top of hood is good but there is a spot on the front substructure passenger side front, fenders and doors look good. Same with trunk lid. Driver side floor with have some holes after sand blasting, passenger toe board needs repair, the rest of the floors are great, small spot at outer wheel well driver side. Both lower quarters are/need patched. Trunk is solid. Solid frame rails/front and rear. Convertible top area is solid.
Engine runs great. I only have enough driveway to get to second gear but trans shifts great. Brakes need redo from sitting.
Overall a nice project car that some one started. I have all the exterior "500" trim for it. The dash is not cracked and the seats are great. The door panels are starting to show wear. Even has the convertible top cover for when its in the down position. 99% complete.
Car has the inner fender stampings on it, dash tag, door tag, deluxe Marti report and clear Pennsylvania title. Car is for sale locally and listed on Craigslist Philadelphia in "Doylestown 18902". I can end this auction at any time.
Can Also make this car a GT clone with the GT center caps and GT grille emblem for extra. I have lots of parts for these 68/69 cars.

I have the tiny remains of a 1969 Ford Cobra fastback, meadow lark yellow, 4 speed, nothing left but cowl, firewall with dash tag, inner fender numbers, title ( still waiting on delayed DMV ), Marti report, door tag and vin stamped block.
