1968 Harley Davidson XLCH Sportster for sale. Has new old stock factory
complete exhaust system , nice sound not
obnoxious. NOS factory steering dampner necessary for higher speeds on
bumpy roads and rain grooved freeways. NOS factory center stand assembly
, perfect for doing routine maintenance. NOS seat still in the wrapper.
Has, by previous owner, rebuilt motor that was stroked to 4 1/2 inches
with big oversized barrels , period correct speed equipment looks to be
Dytch ? Makes the bike look way beefier more like a Vincent motor than
Harley. Uses KR head studs so you know it was built right . Carb set up is the early S&S Super B again a period correct
speed equipment. Have original Tillotson carb and air cleaner set up
also to be included in sale. No repairs on the cases , belly numbers match, speedo drive is present and working so you know this old girl was used but not abused . Motor starts easy with its rebuilt magneto
with the left grip manual advance/retard. No smoke on start up or when
hot, bike runs and stops without any drama. This is an outstanding
