Excellent 1968 Honda Z50 "Pit Bike" See full description below, this is truly a one of a kind piece.
As a Honda dealer from 1[hidden information] I was able to purchase the new CL70 engine installed in this bike.The CL70 is a 4-Speed engine with Neutral all the way up, which makes it like the Original Z50 withan extra gear. and I changed the clutch back to an automatic.
The engine displacement is 100cc, it has a stroker kit, 3mm oversized piston, high performancecamshaft, a hand fabricated intake manifold & exhaust pipe, and a 20mm Keihin carburetor.
The frame has been nickel plated as were most of my race bikes during that time period, tires have adirt track style tread design, and the seat was purchased new and is excellent condition.
In 2010 I went through the motor and installed new piston rings and all gaskets and seals.It is 100% oil tight, does not smoke and is scary fast to right.
The Bike was occasionally used as a "Pit Bike" for Rich King & Ronnie Jones in the 80's and 90'sat AMA Pro Flat Track races. The Bike has been ridden very little otherwise.

Overall condition is Excellent, You will not be disappointed. One of a kind piece is an Understatement!Rear fender does have a small dent and two small cracks. Bike will come with Bill of sale.
