Up for sale is a custom 1968 Mercury Cougar with a 1968 Mustang Fastback roof added on to it. I purchased this car in 2008 from Ohio. The story goes it ran for 10yrs and in 1977 a tree fell on it. Another shop kind of laid the roof on the car and it sat in a shop until I got it. The car technically has about 13k on it. It came with a 302 and a 4 speed top-loader. The engine and tranny were removed. Included are all of the fastback trim needed, the original cluster and other parts. Once the roof was welded in place the car was sandblasted and sealed, the floors, frame rails and shock towers are perfect. There are very small rust spots on random body parts but over all this cars bones are mint! This car would make a perfect custom car and that waa my intention however life got in the way and the car sat for 10yrs. Now unfortunately i have to let it go because I have no place to keep it and I don't have the time to build it the way it should be built.
