1968 Suzuki T500 Cobra , the original flagship of the Suzuki line up....this bike first made its appearance in 1967.....wow a 2 cylinder 500cc 2 stroke....arguably the first Japanese super bike, it was lightning fast, and reliable as a stone bridge..

..critics said it couldn't be built but it was ,and it stayed in the Suzuki line up for 10 yearswhat i like about the 68 t500 is the sixties styling.....chrome tank panels valanced fenders, swede like seat , tire pump,,,,and this was the fastest year
the bike you see here is a complete resto......inside and out.....and the mileage is correct just a bit over 5200
lets talk about the engine ,well at 5000 miles you wouldn't expect much wear your correct there wasn't anythe gears show no wear at all....the pistons are nos the seals are all new and gaskets as wellthe crankshaft was completely rebuilt by crankmaster .....his tolerances are so precise that most of the factory vibration is greatly diminishedthe cases were carefully cleaned and the engine covers were buffed and clearcoatedif the engine hardware looks new your correct nos and what we didnt have we had stripped and replatedall the chrome was replated to triple plated chrome .....way better than original!all the black parts including frame and swingarm are powder coated in black mirror much more durable than paint......the emblems are nos the battery is new ,the tires tubes are new and even the spokes are nos genuine Suzukithe bike starts on the 1st or 2nd kick and the bike runs amazingthis is a bike you will certainly enjoy now and many years to come!has tool kit owners manual, service manual and a clear title
