No documentation ever found when undergoing restoration . This vehicle was brought up from Indiana approx 12 years ago . It was used and abused on the drag strips back in the day , which probably explains why the frame , floorboards are so dry and clean . Lower mileage than most .(odometer not original). I suspect the lack of street use benefited the overall condition of the body . I was told the original powertrain blew up in the early 80's .

A considerable amount of NOS parts (too much to list ) were used during this frame on restoration back in 2011. All work done right and as close to factory original as possible . This was my keeper , not a flip . I built it to be a very nice driver , but not a show queen . Paint is beautiful, but does have some minor imperfections, but is still very presentable. Engine bay has the original driver look and is not detailed , as it has the normal dirt and dust . Less than 2,000 miles put on body and powertrain since restored.
A few things to be finished : New headliner / need replacing . ( Factory correct SMS headliner material will be supplied ) . Fender "Biscayne" emblems and NOS rocker moldings ( all supplied but need to be installed .) There are still some minor electrical gremlins with some of the dash lights to deal with ... easily fixed with some time and patience ( which I have neither )
I have come to realize for myself , "The journey is more fun than the destination itself ". I seldom drive this beast now , only taking it to a few car shows every year . It is in storage 8 months of the year. I'm getting older, tired ,my eyesight is failing and the back failing . I have to start thinking about retirement, and downsizing
There are very few of these 69 2 door post sedans out there ( especially L72's ) , and you can almost be guaranteed you will not see yourself parked beside another . Always gathers a crowd and naturally starts discussions with onlookers on whether or not these cars were actually built this way from factory , which of course they were... just never seen by most .
Car is located 1 hour north of the US border , just south of Winnipeg , Manitoba , Canada . Vehicle has clear title ( Manitoba Govt proof of ownership and insurance ) . Can hold in secure storage for up to 30 days max , while buyer makes pick up arrangements. Any further questions or concerns please ask . [hidden information]
Non refundable deposit due within 48 hours , and the balance due within 10 days.Vehicle will not leave my possession until all funds clear.
