1969 Torino GT:
This car was hauled back from Alaska years ago basically as you see it
now. It still has an Alaska title dating 8/18/98. I can send a picture
of it. The VIN on dash, plate on door both match the title. Car came
with a 390 V8. I have a bare block, heads, exhaust manifolds, intake,
carb, valve covers, pistons, rods, radiator, front exhaust pipes, etc.
There is no crank shaft. Has automatic in the trunk. This is a bucket
seat floor console car. Back seat and doors panels are good, dash looks
good, headliner has a couple tears in it. Front seats need covers. Body
appears to be solid, front fenders are not original to the car. Has
original hood scoop. I have a tub full of small pieces like 390 emblems
for scoop, signal lights for scoop, Chrome pieces that go on roof
behind rear windows. Have chrome for around front window. There are a
lot of extra pieces that you can take with purchase of car. I have 3
plastic grilles but each one of them have broken mounting brackets. I
have the corners for the back fenders by taillights and they are decent.
Only visible rust is on the passenger front floor. If
you lift the carpet there you will find a hole starting. Seat belts for
the rear seat still have the original plastic covers on them. To me this
is a very solid car to start with. I'm sure if you sand blasted the body
you'd find some minor rust around the edges. Doors close good, Door jams
are solid.
