The Cosmic Blue and White Trim paint scheme was chosen to make the car a head turner and a show winner. It started with a very solid Mk I Escort shell, full paint and panel completed by Preston Panels. The front bar was deleted to better appreciate the beautiful style of the Mk I Escort body shape. A Mk II 2L Pinto motor was sourced to give it enough power to be enjoyed on the road, this was fully rebuilt by Duggans. It has been quite a few club runs and is a regular trophy winning car.
