: | This is an amazing Harley-Davidson Aermacchi 350cc short stroke ERS factory race engine. Built by the #1 guy for this, Ron Lancaster of Tampico Illinois. I love all the period modifications. This bike look really amazing and charismatic in real life. Sits in a nice garage in Annapolis Maryland (see picture of the garage).I bought it on Ebay, put it in my garage and there it has sat for the last 3 years. I have way too many bikes, and just simply don’t have the storage. So I am letting a few go.Previous owner used this as his description on his Ebay advert “Built for me in about 2005 or 06, back when I had money, by Ron Lancaster, open checkbook, at a cost of 12k. 350cc short stroke motor, hard tail chromed frame, Excell rims, custom tank and aluminium fenders. Went to Mountain Fest to show, I have the book. Then into storage.”. I will also supply the show book and photo, as seen in the Ebay photo section. |

Seller Description
This is an amazing Harley-Davidson Aermacchi 350cc short-stroke ERS factory race engine. Built by the #1 guy for this, Ron Lancaster of Tampico Illinois. I love all the period modifications. This bike looks really amazing and charismatic in real life. Sits in a nice garage in Annapolis Maryland (see the picture of the garage).
I bought it on Ebay, put it in my garage and there it has sat for the last 3 years.
I have way too many bikes, and just simply don’t have the storage. So I am letting a few go.
In the photos you will see a yellow sort of tint/spray on some of the metal parts. This is Amsoil “Metal Protectant” spray. It is like cosmoline in a can. It goes on like a thin oil, but stiffens into a grease. Comes off with WD40. I use this stuff to protect any metal that may look like it would corrode and I use it liberally.
This Amsoil “Metal Protectant” is also sprayed down the spark plug hole, so the cylinder is coated and will not rust. I turn it over while spraying, so it is protected up and down the bore and the rings.
The previous owner used this as his description on his Ebay advert “Built for me in about 2005 or 06, back when I had money, by Ron Lancaster, open checkbook, at a cost of 12k. 350cc short stroke motor, hardtail chromed frame, Excell rims, custom tank and aluminium fenders. Went to Mountain Fest to show, I have the book. Then into storage.”. I will also supply the show book and photo, as seen in the Ebay photo section.
Serial number 7B10014H0, look it up and you will see it is a proper factor racing engine case. The “7B” means 350cc ERS factory racing engine. The H0 is the code for 1970. This website says there were 102 total made for that year. https://cybermotorcycle.com/marques/aermacchi/aermacchi-serial-numbers.htm
I love this bike, but I will not get around to it as I have so many current projects.
NO TITLE – sold as a race bike when new. Ebayforces me topick a funny title type in order to list. If you want a title, and put this on the street, go to www.motorecyclenow.com
Sold “as is”. No warranty. Will open garage door for your shipper.
I am selling locally, so this listing may end at any time.
