Seller Description

1970 Trans Am Clone paired with a 1970 455 YH block and Super T10 4 speed trans. Originally born an Esprit, this car spent its life in Georgia whichis why it has maintained its solid structure (despite its Frankenstein/sleeper/patina look). I just brought this car to the Northeast in April of this year. This car runs and drives well and goes down the road straight with ease. The 1970 455 is paired with 7k3 heads, Ram Air IV Intake Manifold/Heat shield and Ram Air III Exhaust Manifolds. We just finished rebuilding the front end in which we removed the tubular front suspension and went back all stock (old tubular and wilwood brake setup is included in the purchase of the car). We put a new windshield in the car along with new front brakes and suspension components. New tires and a set of refinished original 15" Rally II wheels are also mounted on the car. OEM Front Chin Spoiler, Rear Bumper, Plastic Rear Cover, Tail Lights, Doors, and Fender Flares are all included with purchase. The underneath of the car is very clean (view pics). There is 1 spot of rust about 6x8 on the 1 floor pan that will need to be replaced. There are a couple other quarter-half dollar sized holes in the trunk floor that would just need small patches.

I tried to include as many pics as I could of rust but there are NO MAJOR RUST issues on the car despite its appearance. Mechanically, the car starts on the first bump of the key. The previous owner stated that the engine was a fresh rebuild but never fired (cannot confirm or deny). We proceeded with proper engine break in procedure just to stay on the safe side. I can confirm that this engine is super strong and put together well. Previous owner also stated that the carburetor was rebuilt (I can confirm that it is the nicest quadrajet on any of our cars). When you let the clutch out on the transmission in neutral it makes a small whining noise. I've been told by multiple people that it is a throwout bearing. It shifts well but struggles to downshift occasionally due to the throwout bearing issue. Cosmetically, the headlights do not work because they are HID. I was planning to go back stock and it would be relatively easy to hook back up to stock. Tail Lights lenses need to be replaced but I have them. Other then that the car should pass inspection and be legal with no issues. If you have any questions feel free to reach out at [hidden information]. I'll answer any questions you may have.
