Seller Description
1970 Suzuki T350 two stroke in nice condition with a clear California title and current registration. This is not a show bike, but is a nice rider. Was included in a Japanese motorcycle magazine last year (sorry cannot read title, but will copy pages for Buyer if desired). Here is the entire scoop:
Runs well after fiddling with choke and throttle cable until warm. I have not been into engine, so cannot give any further details. Throttle cable is just a bit too short so RPM increases when bars are at full lock.
Doesn't affect anything. Can provide a video of the bike running as requested.
Seat pan is original, but cover is not. Is too large (too much foam) and lacks the trim piece.Color is Camaro red so not the OEM red color Suzuki used in 1970. Decals are reproductions to match the originals. Paint is nice. Note that the rear (originally chrome) fender had a slight "tweak" to it so I painted the fender the same red color as the tank and side panels.Tank is in good shape. Petcock is a Pingel with manual on-off.Rebuilt carbs do leak a bit after shut-off. Must be bowl gaskets or float level, Has been 5 years or so since I re-built them so probably time for another overhaul. Stock air box in place. All electrics work as they should.
Jugs painted black and head was vapor honed and side plates polished.Front fender re-chromed. I re-attached the brackets with chrome bolts rather than rivets that were originally used.Wheel rims are OK, but could be upgraded. The spokes, both front and rear, are new.Avon tires only have about 300 miles on them.New sprockets and chain (300 miles ago).
Front forks were rebuilt, but action is pretty bad. Chrome on right outer tube is peeling a bit. Left fork tube leaks a little at the bottom. Fork seal appears fine so not sure where it is coming from.Engine is pretty oil tight. There can be a few drops from the bottom of the crankcase.
Tachometer and speedometer work well. Speedometer appears original but has a few minor scrapes. I sanded the bottom gray trim piece to get rid of some of the rash. Tachometer is NOS, but from a different year as the height of the trim pieces are slightly different (wouldn't notice unless you looked closely).OEM mirrors (I'm pretty certain as they have the "S" logo) and flat bottomed headlight.
Left side exhaust has the only really noticeable ding (towards the end on the side). A few other dings on both pipes are well hidden and not noticeable. Chrome is nice. Includes the stock exhaust nut keepers and baffles.Frame is painted a matte/satin color black.Rear shocks are new and after-market.
Tool kit , manuals, extra keys, and magazines included.
Fork lock installed with keys provided.Cheap Bilt cover included.Optional Suzuki air pump attached to right side of frame. I do not think it is OEM, but certainly looks the part (perfect condition). All numbers match (frame, engine, title).
Will prepare for shipment as directed in terms of emptying fluids and helping to load, but cannot do much else. Shipment is 100% Buyer responsibility.$200.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT required.
