| : | “You are looking at an outstanding 1971 BMW R60/5. Shows 32k mikes but the speedo and odo don’t work. I bought it from the estate of the original owner 5 years ago. It had been in a garage stored since 1987. I went through the entire bike, new tires, carb clean, battery, fresh gas and it runs and rides great. I use it for short trips here in Michigan, shows, etc (register as historic) and I’ve put maybe 3,000 miles on it since 2017. I would not hesitate to ride it anywhere, but it is old/vintage; 50+ years old. It alway starts right up, with the starter or the kick starter.Right side blinker sometimes doesn’t work, might be the bulb, Speedo and odometer don’t work. I also have:-New Dunlop K70 tires, front and rear. The ones on it do not need to be replaced yet.-Aftermarket exhaust, not picturedI can help load into your truck, van or trailer, or if you have a service deliver it to you, I can help them get it loaded as well.
