This is a great looking Mach 1 that really turns heads and gets many "I remember when..." comments. The Grabber Yellow paint was resprayed several years ago and, as the pictures show, has a great shine.
The engine is a 351 Cleveland (Ram Air) with Ford cast iron 4 barrel intake (originally 2 barrel). The engine was rebuilt about 8 years ago and has maybe a couple thousand miles since rebuilt.
The transmission is a 3 speed manual (not 4 speed) with some clutch chatter when letting out the clutch, but there is no slippage.
New exhaust pipes with Flowmaster mufflers really give this car a great sound.
Power steering, power brakes, original AM/FM 8 track tape radio, working rim blow horn, deluxe interior, perfect dash and headliner.
The black interior is original and looks fantastic for a 48 year old car. Both front seats have a few seam blemishes. Door panels and carpet are in excellent condition, and the back seats look like they have never been sat in.

This Mach 1 does not have air conditioning and never did. The windows crank up and down easily like they should.
The wheels look great and new Firestone tires have only about 1,000 miles on them.
The body is straight and solid, with no exterior rust. There is a little rust in front of both hood hinges and on the lower inside of the doors. One speaker does not work, but two brand new replacement speakers come with the car.
This car comes with the fake woodgrain vinyl 8-track case that everyone had back then, filled with classic 8-track tapes (Rolling Stones, Three Dog Night, Elvis, Bee Gees, etc.)
While this is not a trailer queen show car, it is an excellent weekend cruiser that gets attention at car shows and is fun to get out and drive.
