Clean and original 1971 Honda CT70 Trail in excellent survivor
condition with just the right amount of patina. Three-speed semi-auto. It is finished in its original Blue paint, a color that was only offered in 1970 and вЂ™71. The 72cc
overhead cam four-stroke engine, does not leak any fluids. This bike has always been stored
inside and well maintained, has 3,814 miles on it. Check out the original Nippon Seiki
gauge face in beautiful condition. The engine starts and purrs like they do, and all mechanical features are
in good working order, including the horn, lights, brakes, hi-low beam switch
and indicator light, etc. The paint is in exceptional condition with some wear in the normal riding areas, and nearly all
of the original graphics are in great condition. The underside of the seat is
excellent, has what looks to be a factory-equipped tool kit. The rack has CT70 stamped on it...very nice condition!
I will post a U Tube video soon, of it running. Starts EZ and Purrs like a kitten.

FULLY documented with ORIGINAL California Title!! This 1971 Honda CT70 will be sold with the original tile!
Flaws to mention; normal engine aluminum patina. I chose NOT to paint and polish this before listing. The "as is" proves the excellent care this Honda had! Minor chrome pits on the handlebars, rear rim has been painted, normal paint wear, rear tire has some side wall checking, 1 brake lever slightly bent, other than that...few nicks here and there. Actually looks awesome! Really, really, cool!
A bit of HISTORY:
In 1969, when Honda upended the motorcycle world with the 1969 CB750-Four,
among the first to be called superbikes, many young riders found that another
bike introduced by the company that year to be far more significant to their
lives-the CT70. Marketed as the Trail 70, the dual-purpose machine was one of a
long line of fun and appealing starter motorcycles for which the brand had
become renowned. The вЂњ70вЂќ was a big step up from HondaвЂ™s Monkey 50, which
itself was a huge leap above department-store вЂњminibikes.вЂќ The CT70 was sold in
the U.S. until 1982, then returned for 1[hidden information]. Today, collectors clamor for
these simple, fun trail hoppers. Since this write up mentioned the CB750 I thought it was appropriate to include a pic with my 1969 CB750. Hard to part with this original CT70!!
