With input from Sir William Lyons who referred to this car as "the greatest Jaguar ever" the Series 1 XJ6 Saloon was introduced in September 1969. This particular 1971 3 owner Australian delivered 4.2L example is in very good overall condition. Mechanically sound this Series 1 drives as if it has just rolled off the assembly line. The interior presents very well with seats, hood lining, woodwork and moto-lita steering wheel all in very good condition.
