Seller Description
1971 Triumph Stag, 3.0 Triumph V8, 4 Speed Manual Transmission, Factory Hardtop and Convertible Top, Factory Air Conditioning. Complete car for restoration. Clear title in my name.
Original 4 Speed Transmission (not pictured). Correct Triumph 3.0 V8, but not original to car. Engine turns about 1/4 revolution and then stops. Bottom end looks OK, so probably a valve or timing chain issue.
Car originally from New Mexico, so body is in decent shape, the floors are solid, although truck lid needs repair, and front fender was damaged as shown in pictures. Brakes, A/C, exhaust, etc. will have to be repaired. Original Seats in good shape. Sold "as is". Car can be inspected near Huntington, WV. Car rolls and can be loaded on a trailer.
