Used 1971 VW beetle 1500

Hi there you are looking at my beloved 1971 VW Beetle.It was registered ages ago and i was driving it ages ago everything worked really well. Its very original and why i bought it and for its age didnt have much rust either but it has rust in the usual places for beetles. Photos attached. I cut the rust out and bogged it temporarily just to stop it from advancing before i got it properly fixed.I took it off the road to build it up. i was going to do it up but never got round to it so its Sat a very long time as in years.I did do a bunch of stuff to it as well but cant remember what. I know off the top of my head one thing is I put all new push rod covers on it as they were leaking.I just dont have time for the car stuff like i used to, it was undercover most of its life with me till recently the cover ripped and now it just needs to go to someone that deserves to have it.i do love cars and i feel bad for it being in the weather so i cant keep it.I tried to start it a while back and it wouldnt run then the belt snapped and i gave up on it probably needs a hole bunch done to it to get it runningso im selling it as is not running. Then i thought of just doing an engine swap and rebuild but again just no time.I have brand new hand break cables goes with the car.I have another bumper for it in good chrome condition. If you are wondering why there is spray paint on the bumper is because they are so damaged i wanted to spray black evenntualy so i did a test of getting the chrome off and spraying it but still didn't really work.I have original steel wheels and comes with the car but tyres are totalled on those from sitting too long and have had it on axle stands.No offers under any circumstance.Auction only.
