One of a kind custom 1972 GMC Jimmy. Ready to drive anywhere. A comfortable cruiser, that can take off like
a bullet! Originally from West TX/ NM
area. This is a rust free survivor. The only rust on the truck was under the
battery box. The battery tray, inner
fender and fender were replace, not repaired.
This truck was originally a 4WD Jimmy, but the chassis was replaced with
a 2WD chassis from a donor 72. Body was
stripped and painted PPG base/clear GM Victory Red. The paint job is a 9/10 only because it is
driven so there’s a road chip or two.
There’s no orange peel or ripples in the paint. The removable double wall hard top was sanded
smooth to remove the factory texture and painted white. The paint job cost $12k.
The engine is a 6.0L LY6 Vortec LS with a heavy duty 6 speed
6L90E auto transmission. Hooker headers
and Texas Speed cam. Suspension lowered
with a static drop kit from Early Classics.
It’s sitting on 20” US Mags Rambler wheels wrapped in new Nitto 555
tires.

Front Wilwood disc brakes, rear
are drums. New Ridetech adjustable
shocks all around. A Dewitts LS aluminum
radiator with 2 Spal electric fans.
Headlights have be converted to projector
HID and all lights interior and exterior are converted to LED, including dash
gauges. Gauges are OE converted to work
with LS ECU. Interior was just finished
in all red, featuring houndstooth seat upholstery. All chrome in excellent condition. Also, includes brand new Softopper
retractable soft top. New spark plugs
recently installed. All fluids recently
changed including differential. New trans
filter. Has radio installed, however I did not install speakers after the interior update.
