Seller description

Stunning original 1972 Honda CB350 in Candy Gold.
This bike is an original survivor, it has not been restored. Runs, drives, shifts and stops. Zero leaks of any kind. All lights, horn, and electric starter work. This beautiful Honda has been in my climate controlled private collection for a number of years now stored with no gas in the tank or carbs. Original HM344 pipes in excellent condition. Zero paint fade on tank or side covers, the gold color is deep and stunning. Side covers are almost flawless. Just a couple very minor chips on tank to let you know that it's original paint and not restored(see pics). Touched up under previous ownership with matching paint. Gauge faces have zero fading and are deep in color. You can tell this beauty has never been left or stored outside. Has original tool kit, manual, 2 keys and a clean Minnesota title in my name.
In preparation for the sale I added a new battery, changed the oil, added a few drops of marvel mystery oil to the cylinders before turning it over, and added fresh non ethanol premium gasoline to the tank and it fired right up. I would add that if the new owner plans on riding it that it should probably have a carb sync and/or a cleaning. It has been sitting for a few years and while it does and did fire right up, it idled slightly lower than it should without choke. Carbs should get a good cleaning/once over before I would consider it road worthy.
Cold start video can be viewed here:
Tires/tubes/chain are new as of a few years ago(2018) but have a total of less than 5 miles on them. At that time new points were installed and timed, as well as valves set and cam chain tensioner adjusted. The tank cross over tube has a quick connect fitting installed for ease of removal if needed. Tank has been lined under previous ownership but was done well and zero signs of failing. Inline fuel filters installed. Seat is perfect. No pitting on the chrome with the exception of some light pitting on the orginal HM344 exhausts. Also some acid etching on the right side pipe (inside edge) from a battery. Pretty typical. Besides that they are extremely solid, no rust, no rot, baffles completely intact and not rusty at all.
This 350 is not in concours condition, but I don't hesitate to say it's as close as you will find for an unrestored 50 year old motorcycle. It's in excellent condition, clean enough to win vintage shows and be the center piece to any collection.
That all said please keep in mind that again this is a 50 year old motorcycle. I have disclosed everything as accurately and honestly as I can but make zero expressions of any warranty of any kind. Quirks can happen at any time. Pictures are part of this description* Shipping is 100% the responsibility of the buyer. I will work with your shipper. Local pickup is free.
The only reason for selling this and a couple others from my collection is to free up some money as I recently lost my grandfather and have an opportunity to purchase part of his estate that has sentimental meaning to me.
Bidders with less than 10 rating must contact me before bidding or I will cancel the bid. Thank you for understanding. $500 non refundable deposit due after auction close. Remainder of balance to be paid in cash or by certified Bank check. Motorcycle will not be released until funds have cleared. Reach out with any questions you may have, I'm happy to answer anything!
Thank you for looking!
