General1972 Mini van. This van was fully restored and rebuilt in 2007. At the time it had a new floor front to back. new inner and outer sills. new front end with wings. The shell was then resprayed in its current colours. The van was rebuilt using new subframes. new KYB gas adjust shocks. adjustable suspension front and back. ew steering rack all brake lines and electrics run inside the van. It runs on 10" Revolution wheels ( black with polished rim ) with Yoko A008 tyres. It has a stainless steel Play Mini exhaust. New stainless steel bumpers with mk1 corner bars at the front. Mk1 grill. The van came to me virtually as a shell and a box of bits. so most things are either new or refurbished. It didn't have a speedo when i got the box of bits so i replaced it with one that i reset the mileage to 0 so it now shows 2830 miles. this is the mileage done since the rebuild. The van is on Historic road tax so nothing to pay. cheap to insure with classic car insurance. BrakesThe van has vented 4 pot caliper disk brakes at the front and standard drums at the rear. EngineThe engine was supplied as a fully rebuilt engine and gearbox from Jim Brindle of R. A.

The Van is now in need of some tidying. both seam trims at the back need repainting . there is some bubbling at the o/s rear quarter near the wheel arch and other minor bits that need touching up. I have greatly enjoyed using this vehicle as my toy ( i have/ had a company car ) for fishing trips etc. it gets attention where ever it goes. it drives well and sounds fantastic! with the Play mini exhaust and the induction noise from the carbs.
