Seller Description
1973 HODAKA 125cc Wombat 94A. Excellent condition ready to ride and enjoy! Title in hand, current street legal CA registration. Mostly original.
Looks and runs great. Starts 1st-2nd kick. Engine has new piston with .002 Bore. Tank is a brand new reproduction tank, excellent. All lights work. Bike does not have turn signals. This bike was stored inside for many years...and has 3670 original miles on it. Light cosmetic and mechanical restoration only, as it was in super shape with some patina. It is not a full restore show bike, however it sure looks new from 10 feet, really awesome! A real HEAD TURNER! Plan to get thumbs ups, talk to a lot of people when you take it out!
Engine #H15922 Frame #C19663

Show up to your next Dual Sport ride with this! Neighborhood cruiser...your neighbors will think you are nuts...revving out that 2 stroke and leaving a puff of blue smoke behind.

I plan to post a video of it running as soon as I figure out Youtube.
Some vintage motorcycle history trivia...HODAKA was a Japanese and American company manufacturing about
150,000 motorcycles from 1964 to 1978. The distributor of Hodaka was
PABATCO (owned by Shell Oil Co), for
Pacific Basin Trading Company, based in Oregon. PABATCO (the USA Co)
apparently designed and engineered a majority of the models and Hodaka
of Japan built them. I never realized this until recently. On Feb-02-19 at 19:05:50 PST, seller added the following information:"rear passenger foot pegs. The frame has a standard mount for them"
On Feb-02-19 at 23:46:12 PST, seller added the following information:ATF used in crankcase. The research on this seems to be split on the Pros/Cons vs. Oil. Runs great, seems very smooth.
