I purchased this bike years ago from the original owner with a interesting history. He purchased it new from the West Coast Ducati distributor ZDS in 1974. Having a true superbike of its day it wasn't long until he racked up several speeding tickets ultimately loosing his license.

Not willing to stop riding his all time favorite motorcycle he eventually ended up getting arrested and going to jail. On the way home from getting bailed out by his wife she gives him the ultimatum " the bike goes or I go ". He loved his wife but he also loved his Ducati. Telling her he would sell his beloved Ducati to save there marriage but secretly putting it into storage. The bike stayed in storage for 30+ years until I acquired it.
Up for your consideration we have a unrestored 1974 Ducati 750 sport with the vin verification tag reading a production date of 1/74 but most Ducati experts consider it a black case 1973 model. The bike was last ridden and registered in 1975 and has only covered 2,644 miles since new. Shouldn't take too much to get this bike running again or as MHS would say " the perfect candidate for a easy cosmetic restoration ". The bike turns over with compression and the brakes and carburetors of coarse will need overhauling. The original paint is in good condition for its age but the decals have started coming off. The bike has never been down and no road rash on ether side. I have a clear California title in my name and a complete set of original keys on a vintage 1970 's Ducati key fob.
