Seller Description

This vehicle starts well, consistantly, and runs decently. Given a walk around there is no visible exterior rust, and there are no dents in the body. It was originally owned by some famous golfer from Southern California, and from underneath you can see rust - I was told he parked it at a beachfront home in SoCal. The engine was rebuilt, and has about 50K on on the rebuild, but since the odometer stopped functioning after I bought it over a decade ago, I can make not claims. A far as I can tell all parts move and function (see note below about the AC), but I have declined to try the power sunroof for about 4 years, as they are known to fail, and then require a small tool to close - which I could just toss inside for a buyer to use at their at their own risk. The power windows still function. 10 years ago I put about $4 grand into it, through a very well respected mechanic and collector in SoCal (reciepts available upon request), after buying it for $3500.
Extra Info: I had the AC disconnected when I moved from Southern California to Maryland about 8 years ago, and I have no reason to believe it would still function, but the factory AC unit is still installed. The dark green paint in some areas is decent, but I would rate it below fair, even though a walk around would reveal almost no rust on the perimeter body panels - there is a bit of rcorrosion/bubbling on the front hood (pics provided), but that would be the least of my worries. This vehicle is quite solid. The leather seats came with a tear on the front driver seat (picture included).
This historically registered and insured vehicle has been stored in my garage for the last few years, but my wife says it must go. Even thought it runs and drives, I would "sell" this as a project/parts car, mainly because it needs a new exhaust. Lastly, I used this to get to work every day up until a few years ago, but I would not suggest one buy it as a daily driver.
I would seriously consider any offers, but keep in mind I will be
donating it to a charity soon if someone doesn't make a fair offer
(happy wife, happy wife considerations taken into account).
[Pictures will be added to the listing in the next 24 hours, if that is possible.
