Seller Description

YES!!!! Only 2,999 miles on a 1975 Yamaha XS650. This bike is absolutely beautiful and I have fell in love with it. It has been one of the best riding vintage bikes that I have owned. If you like vintage motorcycles, you will love it too. Everyone loves it. If you ride it around, everyone tosses you the "thumbs up" and asks you all about it. I took it for my last ride on it and made sure I made it home before the odometer hit 3,000 miles! I thought the new owner should roll it over into 3,000.

This is one beautiful motorcycle. A pure classic that rides like new.
This bike is what a motorcycle should be. You enter a time warp when
you ride this bike. Just a complete beauty to ride.
The 1975 Yamaha XS650 is said to be the best looking, most sought
after XS650 made. Yamaha did the looks correct this year. Just a
classic, good looking motorcycle.
A lot of work went into this bike and it rides and handles as if it
has. There is something to be said about a vintage motorcycle that
handles like new. It is very rare to come across an older bike that can
be a daily rider, not just a hobby.
With less than 3,000 original miles on this bike, it will last you
for the rest of your life. It fires right up on both electric and kick
start. Crisp throttle response and tight controls makes riding this bike
and absolute delight.
Here is a list of work that was performed... I'm sure I will forget some of it.
-- Front brake caliper rebuilt
-- New front brake pads
-- Front wheel bearings pulled and repacked

-- New spark plugs
-- Valves adjusted
-- Timing chain adjusted removed, cleaned, lubed
-- Timing chain adjusted
-- Timing (points) adjusted (dynamically)
-- New alternator brushes
-- New oil filters (both. Yes, there are two filters on this bike)
-- Clutch pulled, inspected, and adjusted
-- Fresh oil
-- Starter gear replaced (common problem on these bikes)
-- New battery
-- New seat cover
-- Air filters pulled, cleaned, serviced
-- Engine side covers pulled, degreased, and vapor blasted

I'm sure there is more work that was done but I have forgot about it.
I will try to answer some of the most common questions ahead of time....
Can I come test ride it? Yes, but you need to have full amount of cash with you.
Can I pay you in payments? No, you can not pay me in payments.
Do you want to trade for my big screen TV? No, I do not want your TV
Does it come with a warranty? No, there is no warranty. If you want a warranty, go buy a new bike.
Can I ride it home? I don't know. You're an adult, make your own decisions.
Can I ride this across the country? Once again, I do not know about
you and your skills. I personally would have no problem riding this bike
across the country.
Will you take $2,000 and my honda civic? Once again, no, I do not want your junk.
Why are you selling it? Good question.. I race for land speed records
and it is REALLLLLY expensive and I'm starting a new business. I know I
will regret selling this bike.
The motorcycle starts right up and runs like new. It is an absolute
beauty. I stopped riding it at 2,999 miles so the new owner can break
the 3,000 mark. It is currently registered til the end of the month and
has a clean Texas title.
Please watch all of the videos, read the article, look at all of the pictures, and if you have ANY questions please ask prior to bidding. If you want to see a certain part of the motorcycle, please let me know and I will send you a picture. In physical condition, this motorcycle is not perfect. There is a ding on both sides of the tank and there is rust here and there. Please do not think that this is a 10 out of 10 motorcycle that belongs in a museum. I would say this motorcycle is an 8 out 10 physical condition. Mechanically, I would say a 9 out of 10 and on the fun scale, it is a 10 out of 10. I had not rode this bike for a few weeks now but just before I typed this auction up, I pulled the bike out and it started on the first kick. I absolutely love this bike and I know you will too.
No paypal deposit is required but full payment needs to be made with in 7 days of the the auction's end. Payment needs to be made by bank transfer, certified check by a bank found across the nation (not your small town bank), or money orders.
Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. I suggest looking at the website Uship. You can store the bike with me, that is no problem. I will assist the shippers load the bike and I will take pictures of the process.
Once again, this is a once in a lifetime motorcycle so please be serious about your bidding. If you have ANY QUESTIONS, please ask me prior to bidding.
Set your alarm for the 28th at 7:00 PM PDT so you do not miss out. Thank you and good luck bidding!
