Seller description

1977 Chevy Blazer, Original 2wd

Rotisserie restoration/customization. Every nut and bolt
removed and either replaced with stainless or grade 8 hardware where
applicable. Chassis was powder-coated and so were all suspension items attached.
When disassembled, I sent out as many parts to be powder-coated as possible.
Only the best (basically OEM) parts were used and everything was replaced or
rebuilt. This were no expenses spared on this build and it shows in every way.

New 400ci Dart Racing Engines short block with Comp Cams valvetrain.
Air Flow Research aluminum heads, Holley multi-port fuel injection, Billet
Specialties front accessory drive system with XL Sanden SD7 compressor, Derale
dual electric fan module, Custom made aluminum intake tube with cold air box.
Engine block and transmission painted to match body. Factory AC components
remain (converted to R134) so the system can be cold even with no window film
in Arizona. Core support, inner fenders, grille slats and many other components
underhood painted body color to tie it all together. Professionally built 700R4
overdrive transmission. 3.73 rear gears. The truck cruises down the road at 70
and about 2200rpm’s.

This truck was in storage for 22 years and is an original
64K mile truck. It did have a few areas of rust, but they were all repaired. I
did the bodywork myself (9 months of sanding and primer) and used Squeege’s
Kustoms epoxy primer. PPG brand: sealer, custom mixed base, and clear. Door
jambs were painted 2 tone also and meticulous care taken to make them as nice
as the exterior body panels. Spot welds and excess metal from the factory were
all removed, deburred, or filled to give every aspect of the painted surface a
smooth clean finish that you simply do not see on even many high-end paint
jobs. Further, the doors, fenders and quarters were sanded as “one piece” so as
to make them seem like they are all 1 surface and blend together with no
visible transition from panel to panel. This is a painstaking process that
requires a lot of patience.

The interior was done by a local shop here in Arizona called
Stichin’ by Steve and won the best interior award at the Brothers Chevy Truck show
when the Blazer was completed in 2016. Tan leather combined with custom vinyl
and suede make this interior unique. Original seat back buckles, the “Cheyenne”
dash emblem, and the Chevy bowtie on the original center console were retained.
Rear vertical panels, seat backs, and a few other interior pieces were custom
fabricated out of wood, and then covered, to make it that much more unique, while
still keeping the original look.

The thing about this truck that sets it apart from the rest
is that it can be daily driven quite easily, and can be shown, all in the same
day!. I have been back and forth to the Brothers Chevy truck show in Southern
California 3 times now without a single problem. The show is always in the dead
of summer and driving through the Arizona desert is a test to any vehicle, let
alone an old truck that was completely torn down and rebuilt. If you have been
around custom cars and/or trucks, you may know that many look good from a
distance, but are just not user friendly. They may not brake or steer correctly.
They may not go down the road and have a clean, solid feel to them. The fit and
finish may be good but often details have been over-looked that make it a
pleasure to drive. I can assure you this truck will sit next to any other high-end
build out there and stand its ground. I now have 10K miles on this Blazer over
the last 4 years, so it has been tried and tested and still looks fantastic,
and still just “flat out works.”

I have hundreds of pictures taken during the build process,
but would prefer that you just get on a plane and come see it for yourself. Fly
in to Phoenix and I will pick you up in the Blazer. If you are so inclined, you
can drive it home without concern. Private sale so no commissions and no tax –
think of the money you will save compared to Barrett Jackson!

If you love the truck, but would really rather have it LS
swapped, I do have a brand new fully rebuilt 5.3L out of a 2013 Silverado that
I had punched out to a 5.7L so it would fit LS1 pistons. It is installed in my
other 2wd blazer and has 5K miles on it. We can discuss that if everything else
works. I could also just remove the Engine/Trans and take off $10K. Wheels are
negotiable as well. If you don’t want what I have on now, I would take off $2K
for them and you can choose your own style.

My brother owns a hot rod shop (Speed Sports) here in town which
wired the truck and did the few technical aspects of the build that I was not
knowledgeable enough to do myself.
